This project has been superceded by Club Log. Please see http://clublog.g7vjr.org/.
HamELog is a freeware (released under GNU GPL) package of scripts written for webservers running PHP and MySQL to enable an amateur radio logbook to be viewed online. HamELog It was originally written by Dominic Smith, M0BLF, and has been extended by me.
HamELog can produce DXCC ‘worked’ tables, and is able to support more than one callsign simultaneously, eg. if you go on a DXpedition somewhere and would like to allow other radio amateurs to check if their QSO has been logged.
HamELog requires MySQL 5.0, PHP 4.x or higher and a web server with PHP extensions enabled. The DXCC script uses a function which is not supported on earlier versions of MySQL, but if you do not use this script then you can run HamELog on MySQL 4.x.
Neither Dominic nor I have time to support user queries, and HamELog is not intended to be used ‘out-of-the-box’. It is ready-made code that experienced web developers can use to integrate into their own applications and customise as they want. The only request I make is that you provide a link to the stable URL for this page (http://www.g7vjr.org) at the foot of any of your pages that use HamELog code.
